Welcome to The Partridge!
The
Partridge is located in the centre of the village of Partridge
Green, West Sussex, and was built sometime between 1866 and
1874. Originally called The Station Inn and later The Station
Hotel, by 1887 it was described as a "family and a commercial
hotel". Following Dr. Beeching's railway cuts and the subsequent
closure of the local railway line, by 1966 it was renamed The Partridge.
The Partridge came under
new ownership in February 2008, and from May will have had both
bars rennovated (including the entire restoration of one); we now
have the traditional Village Bar, as it has historically
been known, as well as the existing younger, more vibrant bar with
an eight-foot pool table, darts, music, a wood burning stove
for the cold winter nights and a large patio and beer garden with
children's play area for those long summer evenings and weekends.
Where
Are We?
We are located roughly eight miles south of Horsham or three miles
from the villages of Cowfold and Henfield, and are adjacent to the
(in) famous Downs Link. click
